Metal Structure Assembler

A leading global player in the construction of large, complex projects for sustainable mobility, clean hydro energy, clean water, green buildings, is searching for a METAL STRUCTURE ASSEMBLER for a major energy project in Ethiopia.

1. Minimum of 15 years of experience in heavy metal carpentry workshop works.
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in the assembly and building of heavy metal structures (e.g., industrial warehouses, support towers, conveyor belts, steel industrial stairs, large capacity silos, gantries/gantry cranes), preferably in large construction sites overseas (knowledge of oxyacetylene cutting, welding, lathe works and milling will be an added advantage).
3. Able to read and interpret detailed drawings of the structures and carpentry parts to be assembled.
4. Knowledge of conveyor belts and their maintenance is a plus (especially how to change and repair the main mechanical components like reducers and bearings).
5. Good capacity to organize and plan work programs, able to speak to and coordinate work teams made of multicultural personnel.
6. You must be fluent in English,
7. Be ready to work well under pressure,
8. Have experience or at least basic training in Safety and the LOTO procedure,
9. You must be willing to relocate to Ethiopia.
